Since the very first time we visited Sicily, we fell in love with the city of Noto. Today, we are proud to present to you our "Casa Dietro Al Muro": our house behind the wall. Conveniently located close to the city of Noto, yet completely secluded and surrounded by a garden filled with olive and almond trees, this house is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday in the South-East of Sicily.
The minimalist architecture and interior are designed to contrast with the garden and the rest of the land, which we want to keep as natural and untouched as possible. There is, likewise, a pleasant tension between the contemporary design of the house and the lush baroque architecture typical of this beautiful region, which is famous for its cultural, artistic and culinary delights.
In building the house, we used local products and local craftsmanship as much as possible, which is clearly evidenced by the dried stone façade you see upon arriving. The interior of the house is mainly inspired by Scandinavian design, which was chosen to emphasize openess and tranquility. Thanks to several large windows, the interior is flooded with natural light and there are amazing views to enjoy in every room. The house has three bedrooms with a double bed, one children's room with two bunk beds (which sleeps four) and three bathrooms, plus one (secluded) outdoor bathroom. In addition you are welcome to use an extra room with double sofa bed and, if needed, two baby cots.
Our place is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a pleasant and relaxing stay. Thanks for your interest. We hope you'll love it!
