Sicily consists of 10 provinces: Agrigento, Caltanissetta, Catania, Enna, Messina, Palermo, Ragussa, Siracusa and Palermo. The capital city and biggest city of Sicily is Palermo, located in the North.

Of course, we have spend most of our time in Siracusa, but Sicily has a lot more to offer. Due to its geographical location, Sicily knew several cultural influences through history, which is still visable in the Greek theaters and tempels, Spanish barok architecture and Romanian mozaiks, just to name a few. The list of beautiful places worth visiting is almost endless, but hopefully you will get an idea of it through these pictures.
